Dyslexikit 7
Suffixes are taught in the Dyslexikit programme to use in strategies for reading and spelling. The first two suffixes are included in Dyslexikit 7 - s and ed. Pupils learn what suffixes are, why they are important and how to recognise them. The concept of vowel and consonant suffixes is introduced and pupils learn how suffix knowledge supports reading and spelling.

Dyslexikit 6 begins work on syllables. Syllable knowledge is taught as a strategy for reading and spelling.
